The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger was released in 2004, but had a resurgence in popularity in 2009 when the movie version of the book was released. If you read the back of The Time Traveler's Wife you may wonder whether it is science fiction or romance. It is neither. Henry's time travel drives the story, but is not really what the story is about. The Time Traveler's Wife is one of my favorite books from the past decade because it was such a captivating story that was well written and unique.
